Creative Industries Federation manifesto

In the light of the call for a general election, Richard de Pesando, via Hastings Creatives Media Network, passed on this link to the Creative Industries Federation cross-party manifesto, highlighting the role and needs of the creative industries in the UK, suggesting that it’s worth a read. Governance volunteers needed for 1066 Energy

1066 Energy is the campaign for local energy in Hastings and Rother. This really is a fantastic initiative for our area; some local people have been working on this vision for many years, but now it’s rapidly taking shape and needs volunteers.

1066 Walking Festival

The 1066 Walking Festival will take place from Saturday 13 May to Sunday 21 May across 1066 Country. Organised by Visit 1066 Country Marketing in partnership with Active Hastings and Rother, the 1066 Walking Festival offers nine days of guided urban and country walks to suit all abilities.
