New 6-a-side football league recruiting teams!

This May, Football Mundial are starting their new season of 6-a-side football here in Hastings at Horntye Sports Park. Footballers, whether destined to be star players or simply looking to have fun with friends, are invited to join. HOT’s Jordan Dixon writes.

New junior category in World Crazy Golf Championships

Early June sees the World Crazy Golf Championships in the Old Town, for which entry is now open. For the first time, in its 17-year history, a new junior category has been introduced. Hastings Adventure Golf, which runs the event, describes what lies in store.

Six-way tie for chess trophy

Six players shared first place in the Masters tournament at Hastings International Chess Congress, after a draw dashed Danny Gormally’s hopes of running out sole winner.
