Co-wheels - a new idea for car-sharing

Local car club agreed in principle

Many of us can drive, but we don’t own cars, writes Barbara Rogers. I have been in contact with Co-wheels, a car club, which already has cars in Tunbridge Wells and Lewes and is planning some in Eastbourne and now Hastings. The Council has agreed in principle, and proposed a parking place in Hastings town centre. If successful, more cars could be parked in designated car parks and street bays around the town.
