Heritage Open Day events at The SPACE this September

Dystopia by Berlin-based artist Matthias Roth is the current project for Artist Billboard 2 – AB2 can be seen at The SPACE in St Johns Road, St Leonards-on-Sea TN37 6HP. It is visible daily from dawn until dusk. The Garden, an on-going intervention by ‘Guerrilla Gardener’ can be seen adjacent to the SPACE. Christine Gist tells us more about the project.

New project puts Hastings’ high-rise towers centre stage

The Four Courts high-rise tower blocks in Hollington dominate the skyline from certain vantage points, but little is known of their heritage or the communities who live there. First Bottle Alley Art Market gets the thumbs up!

Nextdoor Nature inspires local families

In August, families in Ore in Hastings were invited by Sussex Wildlife Trust to a free Forest School taster day in Speckled Wood, as part of their Nextdoor Nature initiative. Sarah Watson, the community organising officer, describes how the project is supporting communities in Hastings and Bexhill to take action for nature.
