Photopia Summer 2024 Open Call Closes Sunday, 28th April
Photopia has announced a new Open Call for its Summer 2024 exhibition, to be held at Hastings Arts Forum from July 23rd to August 4th, 2024. Jude Montague chats to Chris Coombes.
Chris Coombes says that Team Photopia invite photographers to submit their work on the theme: ‘Living Light’.

“As photographers, we live with light, and everything we capture is illuminated by light. Our challenge as photographers is to create images that convey and expand this wonder.
“Our ethos is simple, and as a group of artists, we work to showcase engaging and thought-provoking photography and enjoy the journey together.”
Chris tells me that the idea of Photopia is to be mutually supportive and to all pitch in to help each other. Participants share knowledge and skills and importantly in a time of rising costs, there is no membership fees.
Submission is open to everyone, regardless of background or experience.
Photopia is also pleased to be able to offer two free bursary places to applicants under 25 years old.
