Naked Heart Walk

Inaugural Hastings Garden Festival

The Hastings Botanic Garden Project will host the inaugural Hastings Garden Festival from 12-5pm on Sunday 18 June at the former bowling greens above Falaise Fitness Centre in the wonderful setting of White Rock Gardens. Free entry. Alexander Wilberforce writes.

Jobs fair in Central St Leonards

A jobs fair organised by Green Party councillor Tony Collins will be held on 16 June at Christchurch in Central St Leonards, one of the most deprived wards in Hastings, when a variety of local and national employers will be on the lookout for new recruits. Nick Terdre reports.

Sunday celebrations at Combe Valley Countryside Park

On Sunday 18 June there  is a free programme of events at Combe Valley Countrtyside Park as part of National Great Big Green Week. The events, refreshments and entertainments will run from 11am to 2pm. Transport from the Town Centre to Pebsham can be provided if requested, including by Happy Harold, Hastings’ treasured trolleybus. Bernard McGinley reports.
