In musical terms an octet refers to eight singers or musicians who perform together in complementary fashion. In Octet, currently on exhibition at St Mary in the Castle, eight Photo Hastings photographers exhibit together in a complimentary fashion that any musical ensemble would be proud of.
The sudden emergence of development activity on a long neglected site at the Bo-Peep end of West Hill Road in July caused an outcry, not only about the razing of what had become a rich wildlife habitat but also about the legality of the proposed development 28 years after planning permission was originally granted. They will also be helping people in vulnerable situations to join the Priority Services Register for free extra help in the rare event of a power cut.
