Photographer JJ Waller spent a gay Saturday on Hastings Pier capturing the crowds and the performers who all had fun whilst fundraising for Hastings and Bexhill MenCap. JJ said, “It was a celebratory event in classic Hastings & St Leonards style, topped by the headline experience of the unique and unparalleled Drag Syndrome.”
JJ Waller was one of the 60 or so stall holders along Bottle Alley on Saturday 27 August for Zeroh’s first art market along the covered walkway. Erica Smith joined the throngs purchasing fine art treasures.

On 6 December, Divest East Sussex and friends will be back in Lewes, staging a tug of war between fossil fuels and climate action outside County Hall to coincide with East Sussex County Council (ESCC)’s next big meeting. Gabriel Carlyle from Divest East Sussex explains why.
This Tuesday, 12 July, climate campaigners from across East Sussex, Brighton and Hove joined forces for a ‘big noise demo’ outside County Hall. Their purpose was to demand that East Sussex County Council (ESCC) stop investing in fossil fuels. The protest included a samba band and Extinction Rebellion Brighton’s 20-foot model boat ‘Lightship Greta’ which was pushed up the hill to County Hall from the centre of Lewes.
