Meet Kate from Teddy Tinker’s

You can’t miss Teddy Tinker’s Emporium… it’s the bright orange and blue shop on the corner of London Road and Tower Road West in St Leonards. If you haven’t ever stepped through the doors, then, Wow! you are missing a treat. HOT’s Erica Smith dropped by to meet Kate – the woman behind this amazing emporium.

Harry Tryphonos: Minor Sketches

HOT first connected with Harry Tryphonos through his writing about homelessness in Hastings. We knew he was also an artist – and are very happy to promote his latest exhibition at Hastings Arts Forum: Minor Sketches: An exhibition in a range of media; defying narrative &  commanding a visceral reaction.

A walk to get Esther back on the road

This Saturday, 1 August, a small group of friends will be walking over 15 miles to raise money for a wheelchair for their friend Esther Fox. The walk will start at 10am from Eastbourne Pier and they hope to finish it around 4pm on Hastings Pier. HOT’s Erica Smith pulled on her hiking boots and caught up with the friends behind the fundraiser.
