Local eco show homes sought

Have you made changes to your home to make it more energy efficient? Changes like an eco-refurb? Better insulation? Solar panels? Wind turbine? New heating system or boiler? Damp-proofing? Compost toilet in the garden? Simple DIY measures such as draught-exclusion? Energise Sussex Coast (ESC) is looking for local homes to be included in their Eco Show Homes tour taking place in September and they’d love to hear from you if you’d like to take part. Orchestral backing heats up piano finals

Three of the six finalists in the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition had their last chance to impress the jury last night. Tonight the competition  reaches its climax with the remaining three finalists going through their paces and the jury eventually anointing the winner. Local group, Women’s Voice is hosting an event for International Women’s Day (IWD) on Saturday 10 March at Azur on the Marina from 12.30 – 3.30pm. All are welcome. The event is free and there will be refreshments.
