Harmony at Christmas

It has been a great year for musician, Debbie Warren, culminating in a brilliant performance of Benjamin Britten and John Rutter Carols at Christmas and her appointment as Soundwaves Community Choir’s first resident Music Director. The plan is to do some clearing, possibly cutting back of brambles, thinning out of any young trees and sorting a compost area. Basically, see what needs doing when people get there – and prepare the area for the coming winter.

You can call the emergency services if you need police, ambulance or fire-fighters, but there is another emergency service in town performing an equally important role – the Seaview Project, which helps homeless and vulnerable people and those whose lives have fallen apart but who can find no help from the official agencies. Strategy director Mike Cornish told Nick Terdre how it works.
