St Mary In The Castle

Come early and stay late!

On Saturday, 21 September, St Mary in the Castle are celebrating their newly acquired status as a Charitable Trust with a day of FREE entertainment. Performers from all over the South Coast are giving their time free to promote this wonderful and iconic arts venue. The show will be a real Hullabaloo, writes HOT’s Chris Cormack.

Meet: Riz Maslen

Riz describes her style as an expression of her personality. “I am anti-brand; I like to mix styles together and mainly shop in second hand shops. I like my look to be a mixture of contemporary and vintage. I love 1920’s and 30’s styles and take inspiration from these eras.”

Bluesman Kris Dollimore sets a high standard for Hastings

During a career in music spanning more than three decades, guitarist Kris Dollimore has travelled the world, gracing some of its greatest stages, and has played with numerous international bands and artists. Names you may have heard of include The Godfathers, The Damned, Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Thunders and Adam Ant. He also plays with Del Amitri, who just last week announced a UK tour for early 2014. Kris numbers the likes of Johnny Depp, David Bowie and Chrissie Hynde in his fan club. Musician Ian Greensmith gets excited about the upcoming gig at The Royal Standard.
