Hastings Fringe announces participating venues
The second Hastings Fringe Festival 2016 will take place from Tuesday 30 August until Sunday 4 September inclusive at a number of venues throughout Hastings and St Leonards.
For the first Fringe Festival, all performances took place at The Stables Theatre. This year a number of other venues including Hastings Pier will host the diverse performance programme. The list of participating venues has now been confirmed and are as follows:
The Stables Theatre and Arts Centre
Nico’s Kitchen
Hastings Pier
Look out for a return performance by Hastings music journalist and poet, Gavin Martin; readings by Reality Street publisher and writer, Ken Edwards; a dramatic trio of Alan Bennet’s ‘Talking Heads’; songs and music by the Acapella Bellas; The Barefoot Opera; Kat Lee Ryan’s jazz musical, ‘Sparkly Bird’; youth and adult mask workshops; slam dunk poetry and a special Saturday afternoon of fun on Hastings Pier where you watch Moonlight Dreams’ circus show and learn a ‘Singin’ In The Rain’ routine lead by a professional West End performer.
Project manager, Steve Scott said: “Hastings Fringe 2016 promises to be one of the biggest, boldest and brightest events in the Hastings cultural calendar. It’s your opportunity to discover a little, or a lot, of what you enjoy.”
Hastings Fringe Festival 2016 is an independent non-profit initiative launched last year to celebrate local culture and talent. You can find out more at Hastings Fringe facebook page and follow the performance arts festival on twitter @FringeHastings.

Lots of people (including me) are not on Facebook for a variety of reasons. How about a web page, or a printed programme?
