Swim With Gaza

Enchanting “SeaMagic Sidley” is a roaring success!

The sun finally came out for SeaMagic Sidley, which took place last Saturday 12 August. Locals came out in their droves to Sidley recreation ground to enjoy the free community fun day which included sea themed performances and activities for all to enjoy. Meena Winter writes.

Hiroshima Day Commemoration 2023

Sunday 6 August saw the annual Hastings’ Hiroshima Day commemoration in Alexandra Park. Hiroshima Day is marked round the world each year as people remember those who perished due to the first use of a nuclear weapon in war. The event has been held each year by local peace group Hastings Against War (HAW) since 2007.  John Enefer writes.

Council inconsistency puts Hollington church at severe risk
