Public Space Protection Orders in Hastings

New measures to make Hastings a better place to live. Public Space Protection Orders (‘PSPOs’) come into effect in Hastings on Monday 12 June, to help combat anti-social behaviour and improve dog control in the town.

Tuesday night’s hustings at the Hastings Centre was the last chance to catch all five parliamentary candidates in one place, and probably their last chance to impress a large live audience with their proposals. Nick Terdre sampled the atmosphere and the pronouncements.

Murmurations’ open photography competiton

Eighteen months ago, Joe Nguyen opened Murmurations Gallery to support local artists in the Bexhill Area. Not someone who wishes to stand still, he has reached out to photographers to submit images for a contemporary photography Open Competition. HOT’s Lauris Morgan-Griffiths went along to see the result.
