MP moves into overdrive

Surviving the Streets’ invite to Christmas cheer at the YMCA

Tackling housing and homelessness in Hastings

The government’s relentless imposition of austerity naturally hits the worst-off hardest. Given the drastic shortage of social and affordable housing, finding and keeping a place to live has become a problem for many in Hastings. Cardboard Citizens perform ‘Cathy’

Following their one-off theatrical re-staging of Ken Loach’s seminal work, ‘Cathy Come Home’ at London’s Barbican Centre, the award-winning theatre company, Cardboard Citizens, are now touring ‘Cathy’ nationally – and will be appearing at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings, on 25 and 26 January 2017. The play is a reworking, based around similar themes to Loach’s original work.
