The sweet smell of success

On the back of the first League win for Hastings since November, a 3-0 at Cray Wanderers, the morale was good amongst the Hastings players. A Sussex Senior Cup Quarter Final came next, up against League One’s Crawley Town. A home debut for Elvis Hammond and a semi final place to play for. Open Access Knowledge Course

Learning’s not just for youngsters

Local adults over the age of 50 who have never experienced Higher Education are being offered the chance to take part in a FREE 15-week course at The University of Brighton in Hastings. The Open Access to Knowledge programme (OAK), allows students to select their chosen projects with the help of tutors and develop a new skill or study a subject that personally interests them.

 Last Tango in Hastings: Part Two

After a triumphant evening earlier this month in the museum, which buzzed with unique music and tantalised with  costumes and sensuous dance,  yet another colourful tango event is due to delight our imaginations at the weekend – this time in the Old Town, writes HOT’s Chris Cormack, a chance to watch and ‘explore the tango embrace’.
