Labour Party Leadership Election 2016

HOT’s Sean O’Shea consulted with some local Labour Party members, who are also HOT readers, regarding the coming Labour Party Leadership Election. He agreed to prepare some questions based on this discussion and forward them to the Labour Party Leadership candidates. Any replies received will be published in the HOT Topics, Politics Section. EU grant for improving housing conditions

Hastings has been awarded a second European Union grant to help improve housing conditions in the town, this time in St Leonards. The first project, Climate Active Neighbourhood, was approved earlier this year for the Ore Valley area.

Imagine Nation to launch in Hastings

Where reading begins, learning never ends: a new local charity is to launch in September providing free books to pre-school children. The charity, Imagine Nation, will bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea, as it explains.
