Ben Fairlight Edwards
Herb walk with Ben Fairlight Edwards
Having experienced one of Ben Fairlight Edward’s renowned herbal walks in Ore Valley with Heart of Hastings, Catherine Pinhorn felt motivated to arrange one for exploring Hastings Country Park. You are cordially invited to share in the experience.
This will be an opportunity to learn the properties of common plants and how they can be made into remedies, lotions and used for first aid. If you are seeking alternatives to buying cosmetics in plastics, this is part of the answer.
Ben is a font of herbal knowledge, sensitive and good-hearted; generous with sharing his experiences and skill, patient in answering questions, passionate about the local countryside being our own natural apothecary and an advocate for plants needing to be respected and valued.
A small informal group walk, easy pace and possibly a cuppa at the end!
Herb walk with Ben Fairlight Edwards:
Thursday 20 September from 10am – 12pm in Hasting Country Park. Meet at Barley Lane car park. Small contribution to the costs: suggested £5. Contact Catherine 07817 144812

The wonderful Ben Fairlight Edwards has been leading herbal walks for the Friends of Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve in the Country Park for the last five years! If only Catherine Pinhorn had thought to support our fantastic Country Park by joining the Friends she would have been able to enjoy all of these walks for free. Membership is only £10 a year and entry to all our events is free for Friends. News of all our past and forthcoming events, including Ben’s walks, can be found on our website: http://www.friendsofhastingscountrypark.org
