Josie Long’s Works In Progress
Josie Long makes a welcome return to Hastings on 22 July, performing at The OB Theatre. John Knowles reports.
Returning to Hastings after a long stint on Radio Four with her long term project, Short Cuts and now her new sitcom, Romance and Adventure, Joise Long teams up with Grace Petrie (also from Radio Four’s much loved Now Show) with their pre-Edinburgh show, Works in Progress.
Josie is a stand-up comedian who has been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award three times for Best Show. She likes making short films and sea swimming and whilst in Hastings will no doubt be nick-nack shopping and visiting ‘Wow and Flutter’.
Grace Petrie is a folk singer who regularly appears on the Now Show on BBC Radio four. She has toured extensively in the UK and in Canada, most recently at the Vancouver folk festival. She likes a spa day and has a lovely dog.
