HBC’s affordable housing target in question

Although several of Hastings Borough Council’s key housing projects have for one reason or another been knocked off course, it still maintains that it is on track to meet its target of delivering 500 affordable homes by 2027. County Council wasted over £30k on ‘absurd’ security

Hastings Borough Council (HBC) has a persistent habit of obstructing local democracy. Through 2023 there were questions to Full Council, but some never got answered. Green councillors told Gaza ceasefire motion ‘not within the Council’s functions’
