Women’s Voice invite you to the final event of our Global Kitchen 1066 project, funded by 1066 Anniversary Community Grants Fund 2016. The purpose of Global Kitchen is to celebrate the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings and to promote diversity, inclusivity and happiness through cooking and eating for members of our community.
The writing/performing team of Kate Tym and John Knowles (Rat in the Cellar, Time Please and Hilteria Pizzeria) return to the stage with a brand new family play based on ‘A Christmas Carol’. Those familiar with Dicken’s seasonal classic might recall that there are quite a lot of people in his story, as well as amazing special effects; well not in this version, as ‘A Penny Pincher’s Christmas Carol’ brings you the abridged version with just two actors.
