A Sustainable Transport Forum for Hastings
A number of local community groups working on issues relating to transport and the environment have been looking at ways of sharing information, working collaboratively and developing a focal point for consultation and engagement on matters related to sustainable transport. Tony Polain from the Forum writes.
The result of this work is the formation of the Hastings Sustainable Transport Forum. This body will be meeting on a quarterly basis to consider developments and liaise with public bodies to improve engagement and consultation. Our website, containing details of our aims and objectives – and our constitution – can be viewed here.
If you would like to receive information or become part of the Forum, please register your interest on our website and we’ll keep you in touch with our meetings, events and campaigns.
The Forum’s inaugural meeting is at 7pm on Thursday 26 October at the White Rock Hotel.
