Aladdin weaves his magic at the White Rock Theatre
Journey to magical faraway lands at the White Rock Theatre this Christmas as Duncan James leads the cast in the ever popular Aladdin. White Rock Theatre beats the drum for this year’s festive family panto.
The singer-songwriter, television presenter, actor and all-round entertainer Duncan James (from boyband Blue and TV’s Hollyoaks) leads the cast in the title role of Aladdin. He journeys from street urchin to hero and, with the help of a magic lamp and a magical genie found within it, wins the hand of the princess and outwits the evil sorcerer Abanazar.
Aladdin sees the return of Hastings panto favourite Ben Watson as Wishee Washee and for the third year, Tim McArthur as the feisty Dame Widow Twankey.
The opening weekend of Aladdin has seen packed houses, cheering audiences and some great reviews. Visit the White Rock Theatre this December and be part of Hastings’ biggest, most magical pantomime.
Showing until Sunday 29 December, there is sure to be a magic carpet ride that suits your festive schedule.
