Geoff Berner returns to Hastings on his European tour and hot foot from the fields of Glastonbury. Jewish, Canadian, accordionist Geoff Berner is quite simply mesmerising in his performances, with a dry wit which could soak up the Atlantic, he has the ability to keep a room hooked with his pregnant pauses and frequent sips of whiskey. An accomplished player, word-smith and self deprecating, Geoff is, ‘The Avenging Angel of Klezmer’.  For fans of Geoff the good news is that he returns this time with his new band and a fuller Klezmer sound.
