Jazz Hastings benefit for Jason Yarde

Jazz Hastings will be holding a special benefit session on Thursday 1 December for nationally and internationally known local saxophonist Jason Yarde, who suffered a serious stroke in October. The event will take place at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association on the Stade.

A wonderful, watery end for the Dear Future festival

The Dear Future festival at the Electric Palace climaxes this Sunday morning, 6 November, with a multi-media event including live music, short films and a time-travelling performance that begins in Doncaster and ends at the lost spring in St Helen’s Woods. PhotoHastings 2022 festival ends with Dan Percy and Agness Clark show

Hastings Arts Forum is holding the last show of the 2020 PhotoHastings Festival. The season has been excellent, introducing new work and techniques to fresh audiences. HOT’s Lauris Morgan-Griffiths went along to see the latest exhibition of two new PhotoHastings members, Agness Clark and Dan Percy, in an aptly named show, Balance in Opposition.
