Marshalls needed for St Leonards Festival 2018
18 Hours will once again be producing St Leonards Festival in 2018: ‘a fabulous family friendly day’ planned for Saturday 30 June in Warrior Square Gardens, with a main stage and a later finish time of 10.30pm.
In Warrior Gardens there will be storytelling, walkabout acts, food, band and more. A big carnival parade will take place on the seafront in the afternoon, with 13 schools and 9 drumming groups taking part. And, of course, there will be the ever-popular street market in Kings Road. Highlights in Warrior Gardens include Kevin Davy White and the World Beaters.
18 Hours needs lots of volunteers to help them marshal the event this year. “It should be a really good fun event to help with and it’s a great way to support the community”, writes Naomi Robinson. “Marshals will be provided with tea and coffee by the Girl Guides on the day and will be invited to a training session before the festival.”
Please let them know if you can marshal by filling in this form (takes less than 2 minutes!).
“Please forward this form to friends, family and colleagues who might want to get involved,” writes Naomi. “We’d love you to take part.”
