Look up to the skies…
When I look up at the sky now, I think to myself: how lovely – currently still drone free. Make the most of it… HOT’s Zelly Restorick writes.
I’ve seen 2 drones overhead whilst walking on the East Hills. My friend wanted to shoot them down, but luckily we inhabit a gun and rifle free sphere.
To imagine that in other countries, people like you and I, look up at the skies, see a drone and wonder if someone in some far off land sees them as their chosen targeted enemy of the day.
And then consider the potential for sky-inhabiting delivery drones. Personal drones. Surveillance drones…
Are we of the generations who will talk with nostalgia about how we remember when the skies were clear? Like previous generations who looked up and saw only birds – and planes, satellites and chem trails were beyond imagining.
