New six-a-side football season
A new six-a-side football season is about to kick off at Horntye Park, and the organisers are looking for more clubs to participate.
A new season for the Hastings six-a-side league gets under way on Wednesday 23 September and local clubs are invited to sign up. There is no registration fee, stresses organiser Football Mundial.
All matches are played on Wednesdays between 7 and 9pm on the astroturf pitches of Horntye Park. There is a £32 match fee per team.
FA-qualified referees, Mitre balls and team bibs are provided by the organiser, presumably with appropriate anti Covid-19 precautions. League tables, fixture lists, results and match news are provided on the Football Mundial website, where New teams wanting to participate can find the registration form.
Four games are currently scheduled for the opening night of the season: Park the Bus vs The Big Sausages (6.50pm), Dry Lunch FC vs Lads United (7.20pm), In Amongst the Balls vs PK Blinders (7.50pm) and Dellas Verona vs Gunners (8.20pm).
