Dance, drumming and meditation workshops starting soon in Hastings
A series of workshops led by Laurie Temple will take place every Thursday from 10 October at The Beacon, 67-68 St Mary’s Terrace, Hastings. Entitled The Joy of Life, the workshops contain a variety of exercises, from both East and West, that aim to quieten the mind and help to connect peacefully and creatively with the present moment. Paul Way-Rider reports.
The exercises centre on breathing and stretching, creative movement and dance, and drumming and meditation. Laurie has been teaching workshops at many healing centres and organizations around the world since the mid-1980s.
Please note: each class is restricted to just 14 places, so it is advisable to book beforehand, or phone and make sure that there are places available.
