A Fashion Archive

The small London fashion house Swanky Modes was a cutting edge presence in Camden Town for two decades from 1972. Judy Dewsbery, now of The Beacon, SoCo, DAB Arts, kimono shows and many other Hastings arts initiatives, was a Swanky Modes designer/owner, and she’s laid on a fascinating show of the archive of photographs, press and many designs and pieces from SM collections. They were the centrepiece of a great Sunday afternoon out on 6 June.
