Star Wars made epic fantasy real. For a generation of people it has defined what the cinema experience is meant to be and for pure visual and aural pleasure, mixed with basic emotional manipulation, there has never been and will never be a better example of cinema than when Star Wars appeared more than 40 years ago.

In case you didn’t know, the plot takes us on the hero’s journey when Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire’s world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) from the mysterious Darth Vader. See it on the big screen and take part in our Jedi quiz before the film starts!

For every Family Fridays screening doors open 3.30pm, the film starts at 4pm and the event ends at 6pm, so a great opportunity to relax and unwind after a busy week.

All Family Fridays screening tickets are just £6, so bring the family for a great night out. And guess what? We have ice cream!
