Ian Dowding has worked in the restaurant trade for many years, including as a television chef and food adviser. He was the original head chef of The Hungry Monk in Jevington where he originated Banoffee Pie in the 1970s.  His television work includes Regency House Party (Channel 4), The Diets that Time Forgot, and more recently Turn Back Time (BBC1).

This is a Burtons’ St Leonards Society event. For Members entrance is free.  For Non-members it is £5.

BStLS memberships are unchanged: £20 for a single member,  £35 for a couple.

The talk is in the Burton Room (ground floor) of the Royal Victoria Hotel, on the St Leonards seafront.
