Before Disney there was Lotte Reiniger, one of the 20th century’s major animation artists you may have never heard of.
She pioneered a unique and distinctive style of black and white silhouette animation in her interpretations of classic myths and fairy tales. Join us to see these beautiful and charming fairy tales on the big screen and be enchanted by these very different, earlier versions of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin and The Frog Prince!
Screening includes FREE shadow puppet workshop where children will make their own silhouette cutouts before the film – in the style of Lotte Reiniger.
For every Family Fridays screening doors open 3.30pm for a kid-friendly fun activity, the film starts at 4pm and the event ends at 6pm, so a great opportunity to relax and unwind after a busy week.
All Family Fridays screening tickets are just £6, so bring the family for a great night out.
Please note, children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult (minimum one adult per four children). Spaces are limited so advance booking is recommended.
