A mixture of workshops, talks and events for local creatives from Friday 13th September to Sunday 22nd September.

The 2024 Book Fest starts on Friday 13th September with an evening talk by poet Michael Rosen 19:00 to 20:00
Three events are scheduled for Saturday 14th September.
A book fair from 11:00 to 16:00.
The 30+ stalls will be manned by local authors, poets, writers’ groups, booksellers, photographers and illustrators, all keen to talk about their writing and their books. Do come along for a browse and a chat. Find out what the talented writers of Hastings are up to. Free entry.
There are also two workshops on Saturday 14th.
Craig Jordan-Baker on noticing and writing about the natural world 10:00 to 13:00.
Join the renowned poet and creative writing teacher, John McCullough for a workshop on how to craft and edit your poems. 14:00 to 17:00
In the evening an Open Mic for writers, musicians and poets to start at 19:30.
A prize-winning open mic for ALL WRITERS whether prose, poetry, comedy, song or more… A limited number of performer tickets are available plus audience supporter tickets. Come along and vote for your favourite.
