New space in Old Town for Zoom Arts’ summer show
Zoom Arts’ summer show opened last Saturday in a new space – Hastings Old Town Hall. It is the usual eclectic mix of works by a range of artists, the group says. Nick Terdre reports.
Zoom Arts’ summer show will run for the whole of the following week until Saturday 10th in Hastings Old Town Hall. This is a new venue for the group – it has previously held its summer show in Stade Hall – which is being trialled in conjunction with the council. The old town hall previously served as a museum.
The exhibition comprises “an exciting eclectic mix of work by a range of artists,” the group says, “To include, amongst other mediums, painting, photography, textiles, mixed media and digital imagery.
“There will be a wide range of art to view and a good selection of work for sale.”
A private view will be held on Tuesday 6th from 7 to 9.30pm to which all are welcome.
