True-Ghost-storiesTrue Ghost Stories – Wed 12 October, 7.30 pm

The man behind Horrible Histories is back! A brand new adaptation of Terry Deary’s True Ghost Stories is hitting the stage, full of spine-chilling characters and ghastly ghosts from the past. Head back in time to a 1920s theatre, meet some cut-throats, unravel an ancient Roman curse, investigate the vanishing Victorian, and expose the Blonde Witch of Lime Street! Gather your friends, collect your compasses and turn on your torches, the world of the ghosts is full of frauds so can you tell the fact from the fake? ABBAMANIAABBAMANIA – Thu 13 October, 7.30 pm

Europe’s leading ABBA tribute, ABBAMANIA, continues to entertain audiences with their outstanding vocals and musical performances live on stage.

ABBAMANIA perform a two-hour show featuring record-breaking and timeless hits including Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Fernando, and Chiquitita – all of which will have you dancing in the aisles! MercuryMercury – Fri 14 October, 7.30 pm

Mercury is well established as one of the world’s most authentic tributes to Freddie Mercury and Queen. The extraordinary vocal range and outstanding delivery of Joseph Lee Jackson as Freddie Mercury and the intricate guitar work of Glenn Scrimshaw as Brian May are backed by great harmonies, a driving rhythm section and state-of-the-art production. The show includes performances of the most popular Queen hits, such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You and many more, More info and tickets

Hastings Philharmonic OrchestraHastings Philharmonic Orchestra – Sun 16 October, 6 pm

In our first international collaboration, Brazilian conductor Linus Lerner will guest conduct the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra. We also welcome the Stankov Duo in a new orchestration of Mendelssohn’s Double Concert. The final movement of Villa-Lobos’ Bach-inspired Suite No. 2 pictures a train ride into the depths of the Brazilian countryside.

Legally Blonde – Wed 19 to Sat 22 October

The Hastleons are Hastings longest-running amateur dramatics society whose ethos has always been to produce as close to a West End experience as they can.

Their production of Legally Blonde is a show not to be missed, a musical comedy based on the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon. The cast of pre-professionals will amaze you with their talent. This really is a Hastleon show not to be missed.

Keith James: The Songs of Leonard Cohen – Sat 22 October, 7.30 pm. Sussex Studio

‘There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in’ – Cohen’s memorable line from his song Anthem. Keith James gives you a concert of Cohen’s material in the most intimate and sensitive way imaginable, exposing the solitary inner strength of his greatest songs in their original, perfect form.

Included in the concert are many of Cohen’s well-known songs: Famous Blue Raincoat, Sisters of Mercy, Suzanne, and Hallelujah alongside some of his less well-known songs such as Who by Fire, Joan of Arc and Secret Life.

AdeleAdele: The Journey So Far – Thu 27 October, 7.30 pm

Handpicked by Adele to star in Adele At The BBC, Stacey Lee’s uncannily similar vocal timbre left the star gobsmacked. Coupled with a relaxed and honest rapport with audiences worldwide, Stacey captures Adele like nobody else. The show takes you on a journey through Adele’s musical and personal life, laid bare for us in such heartfelt lyrics as only Adele can.

Beautiful imagery and video adorn the auditorium as audiences are treated to all the hits and much more, including Chasing Pavements, Make You Feel My Love, Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You, Set Fire To The Rain, Rumour Has It, Skyfall, and Hello. More info and tickets

The Bootleg Sixties – Fri 28 October, 7.30 pm

The Sixties were, without doubt, the most dynamic and innovative of decades, and their impact on society is still being felt throughout the world even now. Many of the creators and innovators of the Sixties were, of course, British, so in recognition of such everlasting achievements, The Bootleg Sixties was created!

This fully self-contained two-hour-plus show is packed with great music from all the classic artists of the decade, and is backdropped by fantastic visual footage. Add in some fab 60s costumes and, blistering performances by The Overtures, and you’ve got a knockout show! The Overtures can claim famous fans including Sir Paul McCartney, Lulu and Sir Elton John, who they supported at London’s O2. Come and see for yourself what all the fuss is about, and go on an unforgettable journey with the songs, stars, and images of pop music’s greatest decade! More info and tickets

Haunted-HalloweenHaunted Halloween Party – Sat 29 October, Sussex Studio
Come to the historic White Rock Theatre for a ghostly glow gathering in the Sussex Studio!

There are lots of tricks and treats in store for you, from UV face painting, a glow-in-the-dark disco, to some truly ghoulish games.

Be sure to dress to fright as there are prizes to be won for best in sight!
Session 1:- 1.00pm – 2.30pm for ages 0-7
Session 2: 3.30pm – 5.30pm for all ages (up to 16)

Illusion Impossible, a magical spectacular, comes to Hastings. Featuring world speed illusionist Kayden Black, award-winning magician Oliver Tabor and magical duo The Glamourists. Collectively these performers have been seen by hundreds of thousands of people around the world and this production showcases their incredible talents together live on stage featuring exclusive tricks never seen before!
