lamb players poster 350The Lamb Players are back in Rye for one show only!

The Lamb Players will be appearing at Bridge Point, Rye’s new cultural and artistic centre, this weekend in a one-off special show. Nick Terdre reports.

The Lamb Players will be making their Bridge Point debut with a performance of 66, a show especially devised for and inspired by the Hastings Tapestry which is on show at the venue.

”It will be an evening of Theatre, Music and Comedy inspired by events, writers and the local area from 1066-1966!” they say.

A formidable company has been assembled for the occasion, with Dominic Rowan (Law and Order, National Theatre, RSC, Donmar, just back from Broadway) co- directing alongside Bobby Delaney.

The cast includes Clare Holman (Lewis, Inspector Morse, National Theatre), Judy Flynn (Dinnerladies, Brittas Empire, House of Elliot), Amber Saga (Murder City, Casualty), Graham Turner (Little Voice, RSC), Suibhan Harrison (Olivier award winning Home I’m Darling, West End From Here to Eternity) and Vicky Lloyd (Almeida, RSC), as well as a few more of the core ‘Lambers’!

The show will run for about an hour and half, so there will be time for dinner after. There will be a pay-bar before and after the performance.

”It’s set to be a really fun evening, which we are very excited about, and we would be delighted if you could join us in celebrating the fantastic new venue Bridge Point, with a little bit of Lamb!” say the Lamb Players.
