Anna Brassey, a site specific performance
Anna Brassey: a woman ahead of her time
Annie Brassey was an extraordinary woman. She travelled the world with her children and pets and became a celebrity for her wonderful travel writing and adventures on the steam clipper, The Sunbeam! A woman ahead of her time…
Come along to Annie Brassey’s very own Durbar Hall in Hastings Museum and Art Gallery for a very special one off site specific performance prior to its Edinburgh run. Annie Brassey, written by Jeatehr Alexander, got a Four Star review from Broadway Baby at Brighton Fringe and that was a heavily edited version! This is the premiere of the whole play, incorporating puppetry, drama, comedy, song, film and storytelling.
The performance in suitable for children aged 9 and above as a guide.
Annie Brassey: Saturday 7 July at 2.30pm at The Durbar Hall in Hastings Museum. Tickets available from Hastings Fringe Festival or on the door from 2pm, but they’re selling fast!
