Thunder, lightning and dirt, with the She Choir
Hastings SHE Choir presents Thunder, Lightning and Dirt – a concert which it promises will be an unmissable evening celebrating grassroots music, performance, and creativity in all its many forms, says choir member Hannah Collisson.
The show – in the Studio auditorium of White Rock Theatre on Thursday 10 August – will feature performances by the full choir as well as solo acts showcasing the wide-ranging talent of choir members – expect original arrangements of pop, folk, indie, rock, and EDM tunes from the past 30 years.
SHE Choir Hastings is a collaborative, un-auditioned, community choir for women, nonbinary and gender queer folks.
There will be individual performances by choir members, including spoken word poet Yellow and Green (@yellowandgreenme), and music from:
- Tygermilk (@tygermilk)
- Charlie Austin (@charlieaustinmusic)
- Eleanor Westbrook (@elliefpwestbrook)
- Wave Machine (@wavemachineband)
- Carol Prior
- Megan Leigh Mason (@memmiemoo)
And more.
Tickets cost from £4 to £15. There are three levels of price to ensure the show is as financially accessible as possible. Please consider the Pay it Forward option if you can to help subsidise the lower priced tickets.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets can be booked online where prices incur a £3.65 processing fee. This can be avoided by booking in person at the theatre.
If you have any accessibility requirements, please refer to the accessibility page on the White Rock Theatre website for full information or call 01424 462280.
