Leading piano and vibraphone duo on the Jazz Hastings stage

Lewis Wright and Kit Downes, one of the most virtuosic and original duos in modern British jazz, combining vibraphone and piano, will be performing at Jazz Hastings’ monthly session on 3 March. Julian Norridge provides the introductions.

Lewis Wright and Kit Downes, both award-winning international performers in their own right, have a long musical history together. They first met at a youth music programme and have stayed friends and collaborators ever since. Their debut album Duets was released on Signum Records in 2018.
