The Warrior Squares at HOT Benefit
A huge thanks to everyone who came along to the HOT Benefit music night on Sunday March 10 at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association. Organised by HOT’s indomitable Sean O’Shea, the highlight of the evening was an astonishing and virtuosic performance from The Warrior Squares, writes HOT’s Richard Hull.
Over two dozen musicians turned up to entertain and enlighten the audience and helped the event raise nearly £150 for Hastings Online Times – which is a lot of money to us!!
We were especially delighted with the set from The Warrior Squares, described by Sean O’Shea as “jaw-dropping” and featuring the legendary Geoff Leigh (ex Henry Cow and many other progressive jazz and rock groups) as well as HOT’s very own Nick Weekes playing a – what is that, a tree???
Below we feature some photos from the event taken by the multi-talented Eddy Lugsdin, aka Crazeedanzer. All these photos are by Eddy – for more see his Facebook page.
