Syrian short stories talk by author
Local author, Bronwen Griffiths will be giving a talk about her book of short stories about Syria, ‘Not Here, Not Us’ at the Cafe Rue de Pera in Queens Road at 6.30pm this Thursday, 27 July. She’ll be talking about why she wrote the book and giving some readings, including new and unpublished work.
Copies of the book will be for sale. 10 per cent of profits go to a charity that works with women in Syria and the surrounding countries.
