Invitation to join RUNWAY for a Celebration Walk

Runway – aka Sharon Haward and Roz Cran –have been leading their art walks for 12 years and are planning a celebratory walk from St Leonards to Galley Hill on Sunday 16 October at 10am. Roz Cran invites you to dress in black and join in.

The thirteenth Runway walk will be part of this year’s PhotoHastings programme. Participants will gather on the promenade by in St Leonards and will walk to Galley Hill, Bexhill

Runway specialises in bringing people together for moments of spectacle. We walk together, chat, meet new and old friends and then stop at points along the way for a few minutes to stand in silence, breathe, to contemplate and ponder while Runway take photographs of the group.

This year Christine Gist, curator of The Space in St Leonards, has invited us to show our 2022 photographs on the billboard at The Space – an open air exhibition ground just to the west of St Leonards Warrior Square Railway Station. The exhibition of photographs will run throughout November and December as part of PhotoHastings 2022.
