Saturday 29 March sees a not to be missed award-winning, live interactive event, Choose Your Own Documentary, at the Electric Palace Cinema writes Annie Waite. the Wharf describes it as a a clever fusion of multi-media crafted from specially created documentary film footage. Packed with twists and turns every show is bound to be different from the last.
A found diary, a film crew and an incredible true story. Inspired by the Choose Your Own Adventure books of the 1980s, you determine Nathan Penlington’s fate in a unique and compelling interactive experience – part stand-up storytelling, part film documentary.
By using keypads to vote, every twist and turn is in your hands. With over 1,500 paths and multiple endings where will the story lead? Who can help you discover the truth behind the diary’s pages and the identity of its mysterious writer? You decide.
Choose Your Own Documentary was winner of The Scotsman Fringe First Award 2013 at the Edinburgh Festival, is co-commissioned by Southbank Centre and supported by Arts Council England.
