‘We won’t be silent as Israel starves Gaza!’

On 2 May members of Hastings & District Palestine Solidarity Campaign (HDPSC) and Hastings Jews for Justice took over the roundabout outside Hastings Borough Council’s offices to bang empty pots in an hour-long protest against Israel’s deliberate policy of starvation in Gaza. Union calls on MP to stand up for local schools in crisis

ParkinSongsters’ spring concert on Monday 28th

The ParkinSongsters, an informal choir of Parkinson’s sufferers – a disease which is sadly on the rise – wish to invite you to their spring concert on Monday 28 April at St John’s Church Hall in Brittany Road. Tony Gifford, one of the participants, provides a snapshot of singing with the group. Also appearing will be the women’s a cappella folk group Rattlebag.

HBC tells truth to power
