The rapid return of long-shore drift
HOT received an impassioned plea from Banksy fan, Tony May, pointing out that whilst Banksy’s iconic image had been dug out from the pebbly beach earlier this year, last weekend’s storms have filled in the hollow that had been scooped out.
Tony said: “As I feared, the rescue last spring left a Tesco Boy in a hollow and the first autumn gales have buried him again. Much more needs to be excavated next time.”
HOT will keep an eye out for the Tesco Toddler over the winter months and encourages Hastings Borough Council to stop the child from getting too stoned.
