Advocacy Training: personal and free
seAp is offering a free advocacy training session for people supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, physical and mental health illnesses at the Royal Victoria Hotel on 13 November, 10.30am – 2.30pm. Registration with tea and coffee 10.15am – 10.30am. Light lunch provided.
Advocates listen a lot, do a little and make a difference, whether it’s standing up for people with disabilities undergoing benefit assessments, hospital treatment, the education system, and more. Advocates act to have people’s voices heard.
If you advocate on behalf of a family member, friend or acquaintance our training aims to support you.
SEAP wants to increase the advocacy skills within the community in Hastings and Rother.
