More walk-in vaccination clinics in Hastings this week

Sussex Health and Care Partnership has arranged a busy programme of walk-in vaccination clinics across the two counties for the remainder of July, including clinics in Hastings all this week. Nick Terdre reports.

As most legal restrictions for containing the Covid-19 virus have been dropped from today, putting more weight on the vaccination programme to provide protection, the Sussex Health and Care Partnership has extended the number of drop-in vaccination opportunities across East and West Sussex, including pop-up clinics in Hastings through to Friday.

There will a clinic every day outside the former Debenhams store in the town centre, and another at different locations up to Thursday, as follows.

Outside Debenhams 1-3 Robertson Street, Hastings TN34 1HT. Monday 19-Friday 23 July, 11.30am-3pm except Friday 11.30am-6.30pm. For all adults, first and second doses of Pfizer.

Bohemia YMCA St Paul’s Road, St Leonards-on-Sea TN37 6RS. Monday 19 July, 3.30-6.30pm. For all adults, first and second doses of Pfizer.

Downs Farm Community Centre Crowborough Road, Hastings TN35 5EE. Tuesday 20 July, 3.30-6.30pm. For all adults, first and second doses of Pfizer.

Broomgrove Community Centre 85 Chiltern Drive, Hastings TN34 3PY. Wednesday 21 July, 3.30pm-6.30pm. For all adults, first and second doses of Pfizer.

Outside Hollington Tesco, Church Wood Drive, St Leonards-on-Sea TN38 9RB. Thursday 22 July, 3.30-6.30pm. For all adults, first and 2nd doses of Pfizer.

ID and NHS number

No appointment has to be made, but those attending are asked to bring some form of ID (photo not required) and their NHS number if known. Those seeking a second dose have to wait until eight weeks after the first.

There are also clinics in Rye at the Tilling Green Community Centre, Mason Road TN31 7BE on Tuesday 20th (3-7pm), Saturday 24th (8am-6pm) and Sunday 25th (8am-1pm). These will provide first and second doses of Pfizer for all adults.

At both Eastbourne and Brighton there are walk-in clinics every day until the end of the month – full list here.
