Fairtrade fashion on view on Friday
Come along to the Fairtrade Fashion Show this Friday evening and see ethical and recycled materials turned into fantastic designs. Nick Terdre reports.
By popular demand the Fairtrade Fashion Show at Bexhill Sixth Form College has become a regular event – this will be its seventh edition.

Fabulous items of clothing created by the students will be paraded on the catwalk alongside garments from Fairtrade fashion labels and designs by Zahra Rose – Zahra has exhibited at international fashions shows, so the quality of garments will be high, as well as being ethical!
There will be some inspiring words from special guest speakers Adam Gardner of the Fairtrade Foundation and Barbara Wilson from Brighton-based Love That Stuff, as well as live music, Fairtrade clothes to buy and information about the Fairtrade movement.
Fairtrade Fashion Show Friday 21 March, 7.30pm, Bexhill Sixth Form College, Penland Rd, Bexhill-on-Sea TN40 2JG.
Tickets £5 adults (£3 OAPs), include canapés and a glass of Fairtrade wine, while students pay just £3 with a soft drink and canapés included. Tel 01424 214545.
